Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, all point to one thing; another New Year’s Resolution to lose weight. The thing is, using healthy meals to lose weight is still the best option for you, and a very realistic option.

Along with exercise, making changes to the food you eat is the most surefire path to weight loss. So let’s learn more.

What I’m not going to do in this article, is tell you to just eat healthily and the weight will fall off.

Sorry, it doesn’t work that easily and you probably know it.

You don’t lose weight eating salads, and if you do, it’s because that’s ALL you are eating, and you’re starving yourself. This doesn’t fall under my “Healthy meals” category.

You’re not stupid, you’re not looking for a magical way to lose weight, some weird method or “amazing new discovery”. Nope, you just want to know if you can lose weight healthily, and how to go about it. Right?

Healthy Meals To Lose Weight – What Options Do You Have?

Going into the supermarket and grabbing some meals that appear healthy is pretty complicated these days. More and more foods are being discovered to contain bad ingredients, there was a major horse meat issue in Europe and elsewhere, and even if you do find something legitimate, how do you know what is going to work?

There are so many “labels” out there. Organic this. Low Fat that. Sugar-Free this. Diet that.

Here’s a quick note for you, often something that is ‘Low-fat” still contains a lot of other ingredients that aren’t going to help you lose weight.

That’s why they advertise the one good thing they’ve got going.

Go with something that doesn’t contain ANY bad ingredients. You might have more trouble finding it, but losing weight with nutrition all comes down to eating the right food.


Don’t focus on specific things you can or can’t eat. It’s complicated, it’s difficult, and you will eventually give up.

Instead, focus on getting your body what it needs. You can start out with just breakfast if you want.

When your body gets all the ingredients it needs, without having a huge calorie intake, it starts to take care of itself.

It’s the opposite of dieting. How can you lose weight dieting? Your body doesn’t function properly when you diet, so it doesn’t burn fat properly either. Dieting doesn’t work, nutrition does.

Feed your body, but feed it right.

So What Healthy Meals Can Help Lose Weight?

The most important thing for you to do is not to eat “bad carbs” and avoid eating more than one of anything. It’s not as simple as saying “eat X and not Y” – you basically want to eat the whole alphabet, but in balance.

We recommend nutrition so much here at LoveBeingSlim because it is so much easier to just take some nutrition supplements (shakes, vitamins etc) and then not have to worry about the rest of what we eat.

Focusing on having a healthy, balanced, intake of nutrition early on in the day (such as for breakfast) means that the rest of the food we eat is not super important.

You won’t need to worry about trying special diets out, or taking on an incredible exercise routine.

You just have to cut out weight gain where it starts – incorrect food intake.
